The NCC’s official register of individual category licensees lists Esdiac Global Systems Ltd under the International Data Access category, with the licence running from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2036.

The company said the approval would enable it to offer cross-border data solutions, international connectivity, data top-ups and global eSIM services to individuals and businesses in Nigeria. It also aims to make international communication more affordable for Nigerians at home and abroad.

Founded by Nigerian-born entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer Austin Ugbebor, ESDIAC says it intends to use the licence to broaden its services and strengthen its presence in the local market.

Ugbebor commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Government for policies he said could encourage competition and support the growth of Nigeria’s digital economy.

He said the company planned to expand its operations, invest in local infrastructure, develop talent and improve access to communication services in underserved communities.

According to the company, ESDIAC already operates across more than 150 countries and 400 cities, providing international calling, global eSIMs and cross-border data services. These figures were stated by the company and have not been independently verified.

The licence comes as Nigeria continues to expand its digital economy and demand for reliable connectivity grows among consumers and businesses. ESDIAC says it intends to contribute to this development through innovation, investment and wider access to international communication services.

The company has directed members of the public seeking further information to contact its representative, Adoga Ibrahim, through its official email address, support@esdiac.com.
