Under the new arrangement, Dr Farouk Adamu Aliyu will head the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, while former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello, has been appointed co-director.
The council also named Ayo Olawande as Director of Youth Mobilisation, with Dr Dayo Israel serving as deputy director.
For the Women Mobilisation Directorate, Dr Mary Aille Idele has been appointed director. Dr Betta Edu will serve as deputy director, while Hon. Imaan Suleman has been named secretary.
According to the council, the adjustments are part of efforts to build a coordinated and inclusive campaign structure capable of mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, particularly among young people and women.
The appointees are expected to work with other directorates and campaign structures to implement mobilisation plans and coordinate activities as preparations for the election continue.
The latest changes follow Tinubu’s inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja on October 14. The ceremony brought together party officials, government representatives and political figures from outside the APC, including Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The campaign council’s latest appointments signal further efforts to organise its leadership and mobilisation operations ahead of the 2027 election.
