The endorsement was announced at a rally held on Friday at Igbo Hall in Kabba, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State. According to reports, the gathering attracted youth representatives, community activists and political stakeholders from the five local government areas that make up the Okun-speaking part of the state.

The event began with a procession through major streets in Kabba, where participants displayed banners, sang solidarity songs and expressed support for the two leaders. The procession later moved to Igbo Hall, where representatives from different communities addressed the gathering.

During the event, speakers praised the Tinubu and Ododo administrations, arguing that their policies, programmes and development initiatives justified another term in office. They said continuity in leadership would provide an opportunity to sustain ongoing projects and pursue further development at both federal and state levels.

A spokesperson for the forum said the endorsement was based on the group's assessment of the two administrations rather than political sentiment. The representatives called on Okun youths to remain united, politically engaged and actively involved in the democratic process ahead of the 2027 elections.

The gathering also featured calls for stronger government engagement with young people. Participants urged authorities to expand youth representation in governance, create more employment opportunities, support vocational training and improve access to education and empowerment programmes across Okunland.

The forum further announced plans to intensify grassroots mobilisation in support of Tinubu and Ododo. Its representatives said they intended to take their message to communities, villages, wards and polling units throughout the Okun-speaking area as the next general elections approach.

The rally ended with calls for regional unity, peaceful political participation and continued engagement in the country's democratic process.

The endorsement represents the position of the Okun Youth Stakeholders Forum and participating supporters; it does not establish the political preferences of all youths or residents across Okunland.
